Our next event is -

Apple Day  2017 on Sunday 22nd October.

Following on from our successful first Apple Day in 2016, we are having an even better and enlarged community event this year  There will be stalls and events run by a number of other village organisations as well as some yummy produce from our orchard.  Pick up your 2018 Shipton Gorgeous Calendar and Shipton postcards as well.

There are a whole range of FREE things for children to do, including Bug House Building, Apple Printing on Cotton Bags to take home, Cut the Longest Apple Peel Competition, a Limbo Obstacle Course and a Treasure Hunt in and around the village hall, St Martin's church and the Orchard.

You can climb the tower at St Martin's Church and remember to bring along your teddy so he can zip wire down from the church tower !

We haven't forgotten the adults, who can enjoy a Ploughman's Lunch while having a go at our fun apple themed crossword, and then sample some cider or apple juice from West Milton Cider.   There will also be a spinning demonstration taking place in the village hall.

So come along - there is something for all the family !

at 7.30pm in the Village Hall and everyone is welcome to attend.

Agendas will be sent out in early November and we look forward to seeing you all there and afterwards to join us for wine and mince pies.
